Today was our first standards based quiz. It covered using the particle model of matter to explain conservation of mass. Students had to explain a lab example and use provided data to make a histogram and a conclusion. But to expand my growth mindset and meta cognition work, I added a small question at the end of each larger question.

It should give me a bit more data to know when I should intervene. Because if a student believes they are correct and a very off, that is the worst case situation.
